Thank You
A personal note from lifeworks skin essentials
Dear LifeWorks Skin Essentials Family,
After 12 years of serving women living with Lichen Sclerosus, I have made the very difficult decision to close LifeWorks Skin Essentials.
This is not a decision I have made lightly.
When I started LifeWorks, I never could have imagined the number of women I would have the privilege of connecting with, encouraging, and helping along the way. What began from my own personal experience with Lichen Sclerosus grew into something far bigger than a small business. It became a community of women who understood what it was like to live with a condition that is often difficult to talk about and, at times, incredibly difficult to understand.
It has been one of the greatest honors of my life to hear your stories, answer your questions, celebrate your successes, and, most importantly, hear from so many of you that LifeWorks products helped you find relief and feel more comfortable in your own skin.
Over the years, however, things have changed. There are now more products and options available for those living with Lichen Sclerosus, which I am genuinely grateful to see. At the same time, the rising costs of operating a small business, increasing shipping costs and challenges, and a decline in orders have made it increasingly difficult to sustain LifeWorks in the way I would want to.
After much thought and consideration, I have come to the realization that it is time for me to close this chapter and focus my time and energy on something equally important—my own health, my family, and the next chapter of my life.
I know this news may be disappointing, and I am truly sorry for that. I know that many of you have come to rely on LifeWorks, and I don't take that trust lightly.
Most of all, I want to say thank you.
Thank you for trusting me with something so personal. Thank you for supporting a small, woman-owned business. Thank you for sharing your experiences with me and allowing me to be a small part of your journey. And thank you for being part of the LifeWorks community for the past 12 years.
I will forever be grateful that something born out of my own struggle with Lichen Sclerosus allowed me to help so many other women feel a little less alone and a little more hopeful.
While LifeWorks Skin Essentials is coming to an end, I hope the conversations we started continue. I hope you continue advocating for yourself, asking questions, seeking the care that is right for you, and remembering that you are not alone.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for 12 incredible years.
With gratitude and love,
Laura
